Wayne Weidow Obituary

HAMILTON - Wayne Grant Weidow, 60, of Hamilton passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024.  Wayne was born on August 7, 1963 to Theodore Grant Weidow and Norma Kunz Weidow.  He was the 5th child of 14 children.

Wayne loved hunting and fishing and just spending time in the mountains.  He married the love of his life, Ellen May Jessop, on June 22, 1985.  Together they had 4 children, Ashley, Kristen, Mickayla and Wyatt.  He loved being a father and was thrilled to become a grandfather to 9 beautiful grandchildren and one great-grandson.  Wayne loved all children and enjoyed being a surrogate grandpa to other children who weren’t his biologically.

Wayne was a Master Plumber and built a very successful business.  He also spent 30 years on Corvallis Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and all his siblings and their children. Wayne was larger than life and made friends wherever he went.  He will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Corvallis High School Gymnasium with burial to follow at the Pinesdale Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 4 at 3:00 pm at the Corvallis Fire Hall on Woodside Cutoff Road.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
